Switch off Auto-Pilot & Learn To Take Great Photos!
There is nothing more satisfying than taking complete control of your camera, finding its potential and understanding how to make full use of it. To achieve this you have to get off your Auto modes.
Join me on one of my photography workshops to really get an understanding of your camera and the potential you hold in your hands. During the weekend I will show you and help you to understand shutter speeds, aperture, shooting in manual mode, The affect different lenses have on your photos, fill flash, composition, how to correctly expose your photos as well as some of the editing and workflow techniques that I use.
Switch to ‘M’ and enjoy being in total control of the image you capture!
The workshops take place in the awe-inspiring Alpine surrounds of Falls Creek, Victoria. The beautiful and visually stunning area is the perfect place to learn the art of photography.
Your photography workshop begins Saturday morning with a meet and greet, some camera familiarisation and some theory before heading outdoors to get ‘hands on’, After lunch (provided), we do a little more theory then head back out for another session of practical application.
On Saturday evening we head out for a stunning twilight shoot and dinner around the lake or alternatively Mount McKay (weather permitting)
Sunday is spent mostly in the field at one of the beautiful historic huts, applying all our new found skills before breaking for picnic lunch at the lake (provided), after which we’ll go over everything we’ve learnt, as well as some computer editing, workflow and a brief wrap up then home.
Being in the relaxed and friendly company of others with the same interest in photography is a great way to spend a weekend.
The cost of the weekend is $350 including lunch on both days and dinner on the Saturday night.
